Abstract - A wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) network is a type of modern communications technology designed to handle various facilities with varying delay, capacity, dependability, and other characteristics. This article proposes blocking probability (BP) based scheduling and optimization methods for quality-as-a-services (QoS) in WDM networks. The proposed work approximates the blocking likelihood for incoming links and demand. In addition, each group has its own PBRRS-ACO (priority-based round robin scheduling - Ant Colony Optimization) method for deterministic QoS provisioning. The proposed method is based on schedule, which may create deterministic throughput and latency limitations rather than statistical averages. The proposed method has implemented the round-robin method while considering priority-based TM (task management). The PI (priority index) is assigned to each procedure. Procedures in ready-queue are managed according to their priorities. Approaches with minimum PI are positioned at the head of the ready queue, etc. The research method resolves the issue and the main advantages of high waiting time, response time, and blocking probability, thereby enhancing the network performance. The optimization has improved the performance of the network. Then, the performance evaluation will be done to evaluate the network's performance in terms of high network lifetime and route optimization.
